Peking Olympic is held in this summer.
However, unfortunately an insurrection is breaking out in Tibet.
This is strongly related if Peking Olympic is succeeded or not.

In nature, olympic is set out under the concept of a festival which human beings contest and honor their body and the spirit.
In origin, this concept, as you've already known, comes from the festival in Olympia, Greek.
It just becomes an event which businees or politics within countries is complicated, but not only the world sport festival which the people in world focus upon.
The insurrection in Tibet seems to be one of them.
I do not say anything about political issues, but I just comment on the fact that they can be separated into two parts, one is the side of the successs, and the other is the side of failure, from the perspective of ecnomy.
Purely I hope that all athletes can be satisfied with their own results with their efforts which they have coordinated for at least 4 years.

今年は、北京オリンピックが開催されます。
その直前になって、チベットで暴動が起きています。
これは、北京オリンピックが成功するかどうか強く関係しています。
本来オリンピックとは、人間の肉体能力を競い称える祭典。
起源は、ご存知の通り、古代ギリシアのオリンピアの祭典から得たものです。
ただ、それは世界が注目する一大イベントだけに単なるスポーツの祭典だけでなく、ビジネス、国家間の思惑が交錯するものとなってしまいました。
今回のチベット暴動もその一つと考えられています。
政治的な原因は、ここでは述べません。
ただ、経済的視点からオリンピックが開催されて成功した国と成功しなかった国があることは忘れてはなりません。
純粋に自分たちが４年かけて調整してきたアスリートの努力が報われる大会になればと心から願います。
