He is, in Japan, known as one of the most famous great persons in the histroy.
In the United States, his name is not so much famous compared with Japan.
"[T]ry just one more time" is really difficult things to do.
It is too painful to think, "let's try one more time" right after we have experienced failure.
However, as you've already known, it is famous that Edison had succeeded to invent "filament" made by Japanese bamboo so that he had never given up to keep trying regardless of ten thousand times of failure.
Unless we do have energy to crazy about the idea, anyone cannot keep doing with his/her attachment.
No matter how we are busy, we do not want to forget the feeling, such as time room, mental room, and the mind perceiving what to acomplish.

彼は日本では、歴史上最も有名な偉人の一人であるということで知られています。
アメリカでは、それほど知られている名前ではないですが。
『もう一度だけ試してみること』これがとても難しいことです。
失敗した後に、もう一度試してみようと思うには余りにも辛いから。
でも、エジソンは竹のフィラメントの発明では、１万回失敗しても諦めず、最後
には日本の竹を使って成功させたことは、有名ですね。
よっぽど、そのアイディアに没頭できる気持ちがなければ、そこまでの執着心は持てないものです。
時間的余裕、精神的余裕、そして自分が何を成し遂げたいのかを自覚している心。
どんなに忙しくても忘れたくないものです。
