George Bernard Shaw should be well known as the playwriter of "Pygmalion", the original play of "My Fair Lady."
When trying to forecast the future, we remember not only our experiences throughout our lives but some events of world history which we have studied if there are some resemble cases in the past.
By remembering the past, we can grasp what to do not to fail.
However, when we seek for success, what to do is not enough for it.
That means, we need to know how much possibility we can select for the future.
"Selection" is responsibility.
In another word, "decision-making" is responsibility for selection.
If we can take such risk against success or failure, we can be wise.
This is because the decision becomes one of the good case as experience for the next future case.

ジョージ・バーナード・ショーは、『マイ・フェア・レディ』の原作である『ピグマリオン』の作者として知られているはずですね。
未来を予想するとき、私達は過去に同じようなケースがないかどうか人生を通した経験だけでなく、私達が学んだ世界史の幾つかのイベントを思い出します。
過去を思い出すことで、私達は失敗しないために何をすべきかを把握することができます。
しかしながら、『成功』を模索するとき、何をすべきかだけでは十分ではありません。
つまり、私達は、未来に対してどれだけの可能性を選択することができるのかを知る必要があるのです。
『選択』は、『責任』です。
言い換えれば、『決断』は、『選択』に必要な『責任』です。
もしも、成功や失敗に対してのリスクを取る事ができならば、賢くなることができるでしょう。
なぜなら、その決断が次の未来のケースにとって、経験値として良いケースとなるからです。
