The Best & the Brightest (4)

The new year 2007 has come, and 12 days have already passed.
I have unfortunately lost a chance to say, "A Happy New Year!" on time.
However, maybe I have one more chance when some Asian countries celebrate the New Year's Day by the lunar calendar.
The New Year's Day by the lunar calendar in 2007 seems to be February 18.
Please remind me if I forget it.

The "goodwill" of the year comes from the "New Year's resolution."
As long as I know, there is no proverb like "The planning of the year should be resolved on the New Year's Day“ in English, but people speaking English like to use the phrase, "the New Year's resolution."
My resolution of this year is the same thing through about this decade.
That is;
"when feeling 'peaceful' and 'freedom' for body and soul and when 'loving' someone and being loved by someone, people are led to 'happiness' in his/her life. Then, people may call it, a 'dream.'
Therefore, I will make every effort to grasp all 5 words during this year again!"
What is your New Year's resolution?

新年２００７年がやってきました。
そして、もう１２日がすぎてしまいましたね。
残念なことに、タイミングよく『明けましておめでとうございます。』という機会を逃してしまいました。
でも多分、いくつかのアジアの国でお祝いする、太陰暦の『お正月』のときに、もう一度チャンスがあるかもしれません。
２００７年の旧正月は２月１８日のようです。
もしも、忘れていたら教えてくださいね。
その年の『良い意志』というものは、『新年の決意』からやってきます。
私の知っている限りでは、『その年の計画は、元旦に決められる（＝一年の計は元旦にあり）』のような諺は、英語にはありませんが、英語を話す人たちは、『新年の決意』というフレーズを良く使います。
私の今年の決意は、この約１０年同じものです。
それは、
『心にとっても身体にとっても『平和』であり、そして『自由』であること、そして誰かを『愛』し、愛されることで、人々は『幸福』に導かれる。そのとき、人々はそれを『夢』と呼ぶのかもしれない。だからこそ、私は、今年もそれら全ての５つの言葉を掴み取るために、あらゆる努力をしよう。』
というものです。
